Photo from the Article; "At last! Japan Receives the Heavy Snowfall it has Been Waiting For" One of the most important things to keep in mind about Grand Solar Minimums is how inconsistent the observed weather can be. More so, than during periods of warming. For Example; During the Last series of Grand Solar Minimums between 1280 and 1850 different parts of the globe experienced a shift in what areas may have been warmer or cooler. In fact Alaska, and the Eastern Pacific and California seems to have experienced a Warmer Climate. Today however, we have a different set of circumstance and only time will tell which areas of the Globe will be warmer or cooler. But if there is one thing to be sure of is that a Meridional Jet Stream, a weakening of Earth's Magnetic Field and a host of other variables will continue to wreak havoc on Earths Weather Patterns as we descend deeper into into the next series of GSM's.
As for now, we can look to places like Japan which has had some inconsistent Weather Patterns or that's at least as far as David T seems to imply. According to his Article and Post "At last! Japan Receives the Heavy Snowfall it has Been Waiting For" David mentions that the first part of the winter has lacked any major snow events. This in itself is not indication of anything but merely an example of what one might observe locally during a GSM. But as always please look at the article. There is some interesting information in regarding this winters weather in Japan so far. So take a look and enjoy! "At last! Snow in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan reached a depth of 55 inches thanks to Blizzard Conditions. Yes, Greta and friends talk about warming but it is snowing everywhere in the Northern Hemisphere. And here at Rapid Cooling we are here to remind Alarmists everywhere of that fact.

In fact, Silver Star according to their Wikipedia Page has an "has an annual snowfall of 700 cm or 23 ft (7.0 m)." If you would like to know more about the Silver Star Mountain Resort you can also go to their website. So mush for snow being rare and exciting!

Excerpt; "Rob Carroll, a meteorologist with Environment Canada, said St. John’s had experienced a one-day snowfall of 30 inches, breaking the previous record of 27 inches on April 5, 1999." While you may not experience this kind of snow where you live, this is definitely a lot of snow. More snow than anyone I know would like to deal with. Even worse, you know things are bad when you to call in the Military to help local government with snow removal and other tasks.

The Town of Kamikawa had it's first snow of the season on August 17. This is the earliest snow since records began being kept since 1974. Lower than average temperature was also experienced for this time of the year. Record setting early snowfall covers top of Hokkaido Mountain. Back in September 1st of 2018, Snow fell in the Alps for the second weekend in a row. This is pretty significant since September 1 Marks the Beginning of Meteorological Fall. What's even more interesting is that these Glaciers are also supposed to be a thing of the past! Yet, Ski Resorts are opening and still in the same place they have always been. But the truth is Glaciers come and go. The Coming and Going of Glaciers is a Cyclical event. Read more about Summer Snow Falling in the Alps for the Second Weekend in a Row here. It may even entice you to book one last trip to the Alps before the Glaciers go away as AOC seems to think!
This photo was taken by Officials from the National Weather Service in Pocatello. The "Grand Targhee area along the Idaho-Wyoming border received 5.5 inches of snow this week." Higher elevations do tend to get snow earlier in the season than where you might be closer to Sea Level. Grand Targhee was no exception! However, keep in mind that it still happened in the end of August. In fact The Grand Targhee Ski Resort resides on a mountain who's Summit elevation is 9862 ft. The Base Area Elevation is 7851 ft. As far as snow is concerned The Caribou-Targhee National forest averages about 500 inches per year of white rain! Read more...

The idea that Snow will somehow be a thing of the past at this time in Earths Geological history is absolutely ridiculous! However an article appearing in "The Independent," an online News Periodical would lead you to believe otherwise. The article quoted Dr. David Viner saying that within a few years winter snowfall will become "a very rare and exciting event. "Dr. David Viner at the time was a research scientist at the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia. The original article which was published by the Independent UK, on March 20, 2000 is no longer available for consumption for some strange reason. An updated article linked here seems to be an update from Monday, January 10th, 2011. Old News? Not really. Some of the nonsense the author seems to believe in has not changed much within the warmists community since 2011. While the article also quotes Viner's' statements in general it also mentions "Contrarians who dismiss the scientific evidence for climate change have been busy copying the article far and wide in an attempt to expose the "hype" of global warming." In reality, AGW itself is a lot of Hype. Even more interesting I have yet to be called a Contrarian. Not to mention a few of the so called facts the article tries to portray have changed since 2011 as we descend into The Grand Solar Minimum. What both the author of the article Steve Connor and Dr. David Viner seem to not understand is that we are living in an Ice Age right now. An Ice Age which is only 2.54 - 2.6 Million Years Old and will likely go on for Millions of years in the future. For right now we are simply in an Interglacial Period. Unfortunately however, for many a species on Earth Including Mankind another Glacial Period will soon return in Geologic Terms and when it does a lot of people will be very unhappy. It will then be too late for mankind to prepare! The fact is we are so consumed with AGW that have no way to pivot and prepare for colder times. Fortunately, there are some who understand as I do that the Holocene Epoch has runs its course. Colder times are well on the way! Where Temperature is concerned there is nowhere to go but down. I hope you Global Warmists enjoy the coming cold. I in fact will not! (photo above not part of original article) |
Weather, 11 March SNOW! A THING OF THE PAST!
According to Dr David Viner, a senior research scientist at the climatic research unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia, within a few years winter snowfall will become “a very rare and exciting event.” “Children just aren’t going to know what snow is,” he said. (The Independent; March 20, 2000) Warmists are actually a mass of Conflicting Impulses. These same Warmists are now claiming that the alleged Linear Warming is causing Cooling. Unbelievable! But, on this page I will be going back in time to about 9/1/2018 in order to help Dr. David Viner document snow as a "very rare and exciting event." Archives
