There are still many questions regarding Covid-19 and how quickly and or easily this disease is spread. The latest article from New Scientist takes a look at and asks the following question. "Does being exposed to more Coronavirus particles mean you will develop a more severe illness?"  In fact The Corona Virus may be breaking a few rules in regards to viral load and infectious dose. Since the virus is spread easily it is still not known what the infectious dose is and it may be that the infectious dose is relatively low. While much still needs to be learned there is yet another question which needs to be answered. Whether or not the infectious dose is also related to it's severity. In any case, to some, it may seem that this Pandemic is going forever. However, there are indications that we are still in this Pandemic's early days. Worse yet, with no real end in sight we can only hope we get answers to the many unknowns regarding Coronavirus sooner than later.

Update; The attached Article originally appeared here at Rapid Cooling on March 27th., 2020. However, at this time I am going to update it and add some information regarding some things I am doing along with some out of the box thinking to either prevent myself from getting COVID-19 or at the least minimize it affects if someone I come into contact has COVID-19.

First, let me say up front if you know me you would know that I am not a fan of wearing masks. wearing masks was a bad idea on a long list of ideas from the start. In short however, what it has done is giving the Coronavirus the ability to mutate and create variations which have now found a way around mask wearing and washing your hands 20 times per day. In fact I have another more recent article right here on this blog entitled "COVID-19 mutation may be evolving to bypass mask wearing hand washing"    More on that later.

But, without going into too much detail a strain designated D614G is now doing what fear and common sense already understood months ago. That viruses exist to mutate, survive and thrive. Not kill it's host. Will some who host the virus succumb and die as a result of the virus? Of course. But the virus doesn't want to kill the host. If it does that the virus will cease to exist. It needs to find ways to survive and mutate in such a way that while many may get sick from it not all will die. Unfortunately, I am sad to tell you that is exactly what is going on today. I am also more sorry to tell you if we had not worn the mask from the beginning we would have already been through most of what this virus had in store for us. Too late now. We! As in you and I together have now created these new strains and mutations because we also succumbed to fear and were not willing to take the hit upfront. Just a little side note. The same people who believe in The Man Made Global Warming Scam are the same people who cannot understand that we should have taking the hit up front! They have now brought you COVID-19! Blame them, not me. I already told you so! But, it is just as funny as those who failed to scam us with AGW are now the same people who are trying to kill society with the dreaded Coronavirus. I would to state that I am not trying to minimize the death upon which COVID-19 has brought us. What is important to note that no mater we do, Plagues and Outbreaks are inevitable. They are part of the Human condition and most likely will continue to due so as long as we do not have the technical ability to deal with them.

So, lets look back at The Article "Viruses are PH Sensitive." An article which came out of nowhere at the time and had caught my eye way back in March. While the article is loaded with lots of great technical information regarding viruses in general, Dr. Sircus writes about something I had already been doing prior to the release of his article. That is a Baking Soda Regiment. Dr. Sircus writes "The fact that most viruses and all physiological processes in the body are pH sensitive is one of them. Despite the fact that pH medicine offers us a key to treating viral infections that is easy, safe and inexpensive, they and even alternative health care providers just cannot wrap their heads around baking soda as one of the most important medicines we can use to fight the Coronavirus." In fact he is correct. While I am taking other Anti-Viral Supplements like Olive Leaf, Oregano Oil and a Mushroom Blend; Baking Soda I too I believe is the key to fighting this disease. Now of course, none of this may help and I too may succumb to the virus. However, I am not going to sit around twiddling my thumbs waiting around for the Government to come save me. At the very least, both you and I should try and do something, anything what could be regarded as proactive in giving us the best chance at survival. 

Update; So here is what I am doing to at the least help Mitigate the affects of COVID-19 in the event I come into contact with it. Recently, I have just added a product called "pH Alkalizer" by a company called Spring Valley and Take that first thing in the morning. Honesty, I wish I had found this supplement sooner. A couple hours later I take a Combination of Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc by SolaRay, I have found that in Whole Foods. A Couple more hours go by and I take 2000 IU (50 mcg) Vitamin D3 by Bluebonnet but there are several brands that are pretty good also in Whole Foods. I also Take Andrographis by Natures Way and Zinc together just before bedtime. I have been taking Andrographis forever because when I worked in Starbucks I worked around Kids who were always sick. There are other great Products by Natures Way like the Immune Blend by Natures Way which is sometime hard to get. In fact I have been out for a few wees now and need to get more. But it has a blend of 6 different Mushrooms. Mushrooms as you know have among other things have amazing Anti-Viral Properties. Unfortunately, like corn you cannot not digest it so it needs to be taken in a supplement form.

Saturday Evening Update; Unfortunately, I can't say that I have been a good boy and taking my supplements a regular basis which has unfortunately come back to bit me in the ass. I slacked some on the PH Water. I could not afford The Immune Blend and should have added the PH Alkalizer Capsules which did not cost that much at all, a long time ago. But when I was adding baking soda in the early days of this crisis I felt pretty invincible but later got lazy. Just as unfortunate as of Thursday even 11/12 I fear I may have a slight case of COVID. What is really interesting I started feeling symptoms this past Wednesday but was not sure. Friday night peaked where I could not taste or smell a damn thing. Not even Raw Peeled Garlic! By Thursday I went full blast on the my Supplements with the exception of the Immune Blend but drinking Plenty of PH Water and today Saturday afternoon I went to the Deli got a Roast Beef and Swiss Sandwich and I have already gotten a slight bit of my taste back. If you do not think Supplements help you are a real Jack Wagon! Just don't be Lazy like Ray. By the way, I have literally spent almost all of my awake hours Friday and today, Saturday outdoors. Yes, away from people but in the fresh air as opposed to sheltering in place. I feel great but have Scheduled a COVID-19 TEST for Sunday afternoon at 12:45 in the afternoon. I will keep you posted!

As far as Humanity goes together we could quite possibly be in for the fight for our lives. Even as of today March 27, 2020, It's still too early to tell. However, now may be a good time to look at Alternative Treatments as more and more doctors seem to powerless to control what I believe could possibly be a Weaponized Virus. If not weaponized or put out there on purpose by the Chinese Government, it could be something released possibly by accident or maybe even by  rogue elements or even a single individual within China. (There is one more alternative but that is not something I will be going into today but and article I am already working on.) To be honest with you, at this point does it really matter? We are where we are. Right now, we have to look for alternatives in the event Modern Medicine fails us. Kind of like living your life like there is a God, Just in case. Human coronavirus strain 229E is maximally infective at pH 6.0. Infection of cells by murine coronavirus A59 at pH 6.0 (acidic) rather than pH 7.0 (neutral) yields a tenfold increase in the infectivity of the virus."

2. "Solar light is another important factor producing viral inactivation, through the action of UV radiation. Viruses survive better in the dark than when exposed to sunlight."

While attending a Super Bowl Party last night January 02, 2019 the subject of Polar Bears somehow came up with one of the guests Norbert while talking with the Host of the party Will. In fact, Will who is actually a pretty damn good writer may actually start contributing to the Opinions and Commentary Section as well as the Cartoons and Humor section of this site. But, Norbert is one of those Left Leaning, Tree hugging types who believe man is to blame for everything that left perceives is wrong with this planet. This includes the misconception that Polar Bears are facing extinction. Which of course, anyone with even the slightest bit of intelligence should be able to figure out is totally false.

Now if we also look back in history to the 80's Polar Bears had already begun to make a comeback since the 1973 Agreement on the Conservation of Polar Bears was signed by not only the United States but other 4 Nations in which the Polar Bear Population resides including Russia, (the former Soviet Union), Denmark (Greenland), Norway and Canada. The agreement was to protect Polar Bears from over hunting. The net result of that agreement has had a significant affect on the Polar Bear Population which is now estimated to be about 28,500 as mentioned in Dr. Susan Crockford's Lead Article, "Polar Bears are thriving despite Global Warming: This short essay explains why." However, if you had listened to Former Vice President Al Gore, who predicted the demise of the Polar Bear because of decreasing Arctic Sea Ice in his 2006 Movie; An Inconvenient Truth you too would have been fooled once again by another in a long line of Al Gores predictions which have been proven to be false. Unfortunately, those selling doom and gloom as well as predicting the extinction of the Polar Bear, especially at the Academic Level always seem to have the upper hand and get to do it mostly without Impunity. This is because academia has been infested Leftists. However, those who expose the falsehoods by Alarmists tend to also suffer their wrath including Dr. Susan Crockford because her view did not fit the Narrative of Alarmists in Academia and the Media. Dr. Crockford was let go from the University of Victoria most likely because of her stance on how well Polar Bears are doing and the University succumbed to "outside pressure" as usual and dismissed her. (University dumps professor who found polar bears thriving despite climate change) This is not education at it's finest one should conclude. However, this is the way things now work in The New Academia Order propped up by their willing accomplices in the media. But when a certain Politician who happens fit the Main Stream Media's Narrative like Al Gore who gets it wrong all the time that's OK. In fact, "Al Gore was wrong, Polar Bears Survived When The Arctic was Ice Free" But this does not see to matter because I guess his message was paved with good intentions.
