Scientists in the Antarctic are searching for evidence in Earth's past for clues which can tell us more about Earth's Climate System, how often the Climate Changes and how the Climate works. One such Scientist, Dr. David Harwood and his team have made a pretty amazing discovery. A piece of wood dating back to approximately 4 Million Years. This obviously leads to the question whether or not Ice has continuously covered the continent of the Antarctic over the past 33-35 Million Years as once believed; or have there been periods where The Antarctic has been a lot more habitable for plant life and other Animals?
