March 27, 2020 by Linda Geddes. There are still many questions regarding Covid-19 and how quickly and or easily this disease is spread. The latest article from New Scientist takes a look at and asks the following question. "Does being exposed to more Coronavirus particles mean you will develop a more severe illness?" In fact The Corona Virus may be breaking a few rules in regards to viral load and infectious dose. Since the virus is spread easily it is still not known what the infectious dose is and it may be that the infectious dose is relatively low. While much still needs to be learned there is yet another question which needs to be answered. Whether or not the infectious dose is also related to it's severity. In any case, to some, it may seem that this Pandemic is going forever. However, there are indications that we are still in this Pandemic's early days. Worse yet, with no real end in sight we can only hope we get answers to the many unknowns regarding Coronavirus sooner than later.
