Article; April 16, 2019, "Nick Austin, Director of Weather Analytics and Senior Meteorologist." Photo; California Department of Transportation Could you imagine if your home town; lets say like a Little Village where I went to school in Ardsley NY had 50 feet of snow in one winter? Well in parts of the Sierra Nevada that is exactly what happened this past winter. Yes, of course they are Ski Resort areas but all that snow melts and fills the rivers, lakes, streams and reservoir systems. At least for now the drought is over.
Oh, by the way have I mentioned we are entering a Grand Solar Minimum or maybe worse. If not maybe I should mention you may not get 50 feet of snow in your city. But 49 feet may suffice.
