When It comes to Climate Change the only thing that seems to change is what will be the date of the Climates, declared Tipping Point. You know, the point at which life as we know it will either cease to exist or the climate will become irreversibly damaged. This of course is because we will soon be living in a cesspool of Climate Chaos and Disruption in which there will no escape.

The 2008 Film Earth 2100 however, makes it's first attempt to scare the Hell out of you by leaping ahead to the year 2015. A Year, predicted to be Chock-full of Droughts, Floods, Wildfires and other Climate Catastrophes. In reality, this Film should have made Rotten Tomatoes Top 100 Science Fiction & Fantasy Movies. It's more or less a film which is designed to scare the Hell out of you, the viewer with wild predictions. Wild Predictions, that of course were not ever going to happen. It even includes the Idea that New York City would flood by 2015 and featured a teenager declaring the following below.

"It's June 8th, 2015. One carton of milk is $12.99." (On the actual June 8, 2015, a gallon of milk cost, on average, $3.39.) Another clip featured this prediction for the current year (2008): "Gas reached over $9 a gallon." (In reality, gas in 2015 cost an average of $2.75.)

In fact, on June 23rd of this year it will also be 34 years since the so called "Father of Global Warming" James Hansen, testified in front of Congress, with his long list of failed predictions.

Since the time of Hansen's testimony we have become accustom to a never ending parade of doom and gloom much like in the clip above from ABC's 2 Hour Special Earth 2100. (2008, Aired June 02, 2009) We keep hearing the same old mesaage that we have 7 Years Left! 10 more years! AOC's, the world will end in 12 Years nonsense! "C'mon Man!" I don't know about you but at this point even the Boy Who Cried Wolf is a much more interesting story line.

Please also keep in mind that the Video Montage above taken from Earth 2100 (2008) is not an actual Documentary as some may be inclined to think. You should note that the current description from the Earth 2100 YouTube Page. is as follows: "Earth 2100 Hosted by ABC journalist Bob Woodruff, the two-hour special explored what a worst-case future might look like if humans do not take action on current or impending problems that could threaten civilization. The problems addressed in the program include climate change, overpopulation, and misuse of energy resources"

I hope that in the future when someone reads similar articles or videos making wild claims and gross exaggerations, they will think twice about the source from which it came. In fact, many if not all of predictions thus far regarding Climate Change have not only been off but as we all know completely incorrect. even more outragous is that there will surely be more Climate Change predictions which will also prove false and easily debunked. Then again who knows! If you keep making wild Predictions sooner or later one or more may even come true. If or when a  prediction or two does come true it may be for a totally different reason.

However, the main idea behind this film simple. It "puts participants in the future and asks them to report back about what it is like to live in this future world" That is more like a fantasy then a movie based on facts and DATA. The two are not a good mix.

As for today, those of us living in the present the utter disasters foretold in the film fortunately did not come true in 2015. Nor, will they in any foreseeable future. But then again, Gas may in reality get close to reaching $9 Per Gallon. If it does, please keep in mind, Joe did that! Not Climate Change.

Since the films release there have been more failed predictions than you could swing a Dead Cat at regarding Man Made Climate Change, AGW, Climate Disruption etc. Hopefully, more people and articles will come out debunking the idea of AGW. The problem is not debunking Man Made Climate Change. The real task is equal time in front of the those who will listen to another side of the Climate Change debate.

 Finally, ABC's Film, Earth 2100 also raises the question; "Are we living in the last century of our civilization?" Of course, that is always a valid question. Not just in regards to Climate Change of any kind. In fact, there are any number of scenerios which could also bring about an extinction or near extinction event pretty much killing off Mankind. Inadvertanly however, the one thing Earth 2100 actually helps do, is point out how aweful and wrong every Man Made Climate Change Prediction has been since James Hansen testified in front of Congree in 1988. I wonder how ABC News and Bob Woodruff now feel about thier work of fiction.

Abstract

India is located at a critical geographic crossroads for understanding the dispersal of Homo sapiens out of Africa and into Asia and Oceania. Here we report evidence for long-term human occupation, spanning the last ~80 thousand years, at the site of Dhaba in the Middle Son River Valley of Central India. An unchanging stone tool industry is found at Dhaba spanning the Toba eruption of ~74 ka (i.e., the Youngest Toba Tuff, YTT) bracketed between ages of 79.6 ± 3.2 and 65.2 ± 3.1 ka, with the introduction of microlithic technology ~48 ka. The lithic industry from Dhaba strongly resembles stone tool assemblages from the African Middle Stone Age (MSA) and Arabia, and the earliest artefacts from Australia, suggesting that it is likely the product of Homo sapiens as they dispersed eastward out of Africa.

On the weekend of February 15th and 16th, 2020, I once again went out to the Francis S. Taylor Wildlife Management Area in the Everglades. While this weekend's featured event is an activity known as Snipe Hunt, I was able to get a hold of Al Bryan. Al is a long time friend of the Everglades here in Florida and has spent many a day since Childhood and later on with his Kids and Grandchildren fishing and hunting in the Everglades. Please keep in mind as an added attraction are the Full Tracks and Buggies out there all weekend long. We also, Barbecued, ate Fried Gator and Listened to Country Music. That was just Saturday! Finally on Sunday I was able to interview Mr. Al Bryan and got his very unique perspective on what he sees as the ongoing problem in the Everglades. More importantly I had the opportunity during the interview to get right into one of my main concerns. That is the Invasion of Pythons which has greatly upset the balance of nature locally here in the Everglades. Invasive Species both Plant and Animal are upsetting the Ecosystem of the Everglades. We touched on a number of  topics during this 45 minute interview. Yes, Al had a lot to say in a way it seems only he could say it. Now, you may agree with some of what Al had to say or in fact not agree with him at all. However, it is no less Al's unique point of view. My other purpose out there was to Provide sound for Kirk Comanic an up and coming Classic Country Singer. While out there I took some video of Kirk (below) on Saturday Night and Al who I interviewed on Sunday morning got himself a Python just before we pulled into camp early Saturday. Yep, we have that on video too! (below) The boys had also started skinning Al's, 10' 9" Python a little before we got there. But, it was great to see that this Monster of a Snake was not going to be releasing the 40 to 60 Eggs it was carrying into the Everglades. By the way, this is the first time I ever interviewed anyone. Got a lot to learn but you have to start somewhere!

Not all of the Fires are in Australia are a result of Arson. However, the idea that individuals are setting fires which takes away much needed resources to battle fires stared by Dry Lightning Storms, Accidents or just plain carelessness should be of great concern to everyone. It also makes a sad statement about Humanity to some degree. Unfortunately, the other side of the story is that Climate Alarmists and Activists are claiming that the Australian Bushfires are caused by Climate Change.

In fact, it is always a good idea to look back in time to Australia's early history to find out how containing Brush Fires were once part of the daily routine by Australia's early inhabitants.

A recent study begs to ask the question is Evolution a gradual process which occurs only in tiny increments? If not. May Evolutionary Leaps take place spontaneously or over very short periods of time? Could external forces have the potential drive Evolution? There are always more questions than answers but a recent paper submitted March 4, 2019 in the Journal of Geology has a very interesting take: "Supernovae bombarded Earth with cosmic energy starting as many as 8 million years ago, with a peak some 2.6 million years ago, initiating an avalanche of electrons in the lower atmosphere and setting off a chain of events that feasibly ended with bipedal hominins such as homo habilis, dubbed "handy man.""

Original Study; "From Cosmic Explosions to terrestrial fires."

Just after the beginning of the Holocene Epoch 11,700 years ago there were two Geological Events that may have helped shaped the course of humanity. "In studying the Star Carr site, the researchers learned that two events there 9,300 and 11,100 years ago resulted in temperature decreases of 10 and 4 degrees Celsius." Suggesting that humans may have proved to be more resilient to Climate Change then once thought. While a professor from Georgetown University in the article is also quoted as believing that the Starr Carr study “....has great significance for our understanding of anthropogenic global warming;"  He is way off the mark. ​However you can read more here at (CNN)  11,000 years ago, our ancestors survived abrupt climate change

The last time we had a series Solar Flare Events powerful enough to cause real problems here on Earth was 1859. This event caused Telegraph Lines and Offices to catch fire. Known as the Carrington event, A Super Solar Flare which took place on Thursday Morning September 1st, 1859 also gave us Brilliant Auroras which brightened Pre Dawn Skies. Researchers believe it was the biggest Geomagnetic Storm to take place in 500 years. While there have been lessor Geomagnetic Events since the Carrington Event we could be overdue for another powerful Geomagnetic Storm. Earth Protective Magnetic Field is Weakening 10 Times Faster Now and  another Carrington Event could be devesting for all things electronic.

Climate Change happens. And when it does it affects many species including humans. Early Humans like the Neanderthals our closest extinct human relatives were no exception. ""Dr Vasile Ersek, the co-author of the study and a senior lecturer in physical geography in Northumbria University's Department of Geography and Environmental Sciences, explained that the Neanderthals were species closest to ours and lived for some 350,000 years. However, they became extinct after the last Ice Age and shortly after the arrival of humans in Europe."
