News is now spreading fast that a new Variant has now been identified in France. "The IHU variant is believed to be linked to a trip from the African country Cameroon. Experts have expressed concern that this variant could circumvent the existing Covid-19 vaccines, which has been mutated 46 times." If I remember correctly, Omicron had 32 Mutations. But then again who's counting? Right now however, not a lot is known about this new Variant except that it has been linked to around a Dozen or so cases in Southern France and can be traced back to Cameroon.

“It is too early to speculate on virological, epidemiological or clinical features of this IHU variant based on these 12 cases,” researchers wrote. (The Hill)

There may be a number of positives and negatives so far as the IHU Variant is concerned. Right now however, there are very few cases as of today's post. At least for now this Variant thankfully seems confined to Southern France and although unlikely, will hopefully not get out of Cameroon again anytime soon. But, you know what they say. Every coin has two sides! That Flip Side unfortunately, is in regard to the amount of Mutations with this particular Variant. With 46 Mutations all total this gives this Variant the ability to Multiply much more easily as compared to other Variants. To make matters worse. This could also potentially make this Variant more dangerous. Keep in mind, I am not saying I believe as of right now this Variant is more dangerous. I am just noting that it has the potential to be more dangerous.

Another problem we face, is of course the unknown. New Variants are Sequenced all the time. Still, it's hard to pinpoint the exact amount of unknown Variants at any given moment. Variants however, compete for dominance. At some point a particular Variant in a given population will overtake another. One should also understand that this competition is an ongoing process that never stops. In fact, we have all now witnessed this Competition in real time. Omicron simply out competed Delta in a relatively short period of time and became the new Dominant Variant. This literally took place right before our very eyes. It doesn't get anymore basic than that. Variants, like Athletes compete. You have winners and of course you have losers.

You may also remember back in October and November of 2020 that I introduced to everyone here at Rapid Cooling a Variant designated as D614G. D614G was a Variant which carried a higher Viral Load at the time and was found to also be more Contagious. Sound Familiar? We have seen a few more of those Variants since then. It was also the first Variant which could bypass hand washing, masks as well as other barriers we place between us mere mortals and COVID-19. Sadly, since then every other Variant we have faced finds it's way around our feeble attempts to protect ourselves against something we cannot see, touch or smell and is measured at 0.1 Microns.

I am also sorry to say that nothing we have done from the very beginning of this Pandemic has effectively protected us from the Original Virus or any Subsequent Variants. Such is the Case with Delta, Omicon and Potentially IHU. All we have done is to simply kick the can down the road until the Next Dominant Variant comes along while we make every attempt to disrupt COVID's transmissibility, In effect, what we have done is Educate this Virus. This Virus adapts, overcomes and improvises just like The US Marines only to find it's way around every defense we use to slow the rate of Transmission down. This includes so called vaccines and boosters. Yes sir! We keep doing the same thing over and over again and expected a different result. What's that called? In any event, it's time for a new Strategy!

Delta, Omicron and now IHU are speaking directly to us. Scientists may hear what they are say but listening takes a different skill set. (Ray Langella)

As for today, Ladies, Gentlemen and those Brainwashed into getting Vaccinated we have Omicron. Tomorrow, we may have the new IHU Variant or some other Variant of significance to worry about. The fact is, there are still many Variants to yet rise above the ashes the Original COVID-19 Virus has left us. Not every Variant in the pool has been Sequenced. Not every Variant is equal. There are still many questions that I too as well as others are asking and have been asking. The most important question which comes to mind is: Are we one, maybe two Variants away from a Super Variant? If the answer is yes and I believe it is; will this Variant known or unknown have the ability to wipe out whole Populations regardless of Vaccine Status or dare I say Natural Immunity. These questions and others are more and more difficult to answer because every time a new Variant appears we are confronted with a new set of challenges. Some of which we place on ourselves.

Yes, I believe we are closer to a Super Variant more so now than at any time before during this Pandemic. This is exactly the complete opposite of what many scientists believe and are saying; that we are working our way toward the Endemic Stage of this Pandemic in the not too distant future. I of course, disagree.

As far as Natural Immunity is concerned it has worked very well for me. It has not only worked for myself but every single person I know who has had COVID-19. I have also not and will not ever get Vaccinated regardless of what Variant appears over the Horizon, including IHU.

Soon "Flatten The Curve." will be also heading into it's third year. We have taken what seems like logical steps to reduce or lower the Rate of Transmission. However, as I have said so many times before that we are actually the ones creating the "Super Variant." A Super Variant which will affect everyone. While there are still only a relative few examples out there, they are beginning to emerge. I am very familiar with one such case. A Bartender I work with had COVID-19. She recovered and then decided to get so called vaccinated. I warned her to not get Vaccinated! That the best thing she had going for her was her very own Natural Immunity. But she knew better! I am not sure who advised her but she was Fully Vaccinated only to catch COVID-19 once again. As they say. Nice Catch!

With all of the above in mind, lets ask more questions. If those who have Natural Immunity are not getting COVID a second time (unless they have some type of underlying conditions); and those who have been Vaccinated and Boosted are having Breakthrough Cases; or those who had COVID, then later were Vaccinated only to get COVID again; are getting COVID-19 as second and possibly third time in the near future, then any thinking person can only come to one Conclusion. That, Vaccines completely wipe out your Natural Immunity and may only protect you from specific Spike Proteins at best. That these Vaccines are not working as hoped. That getting air quotes, Vaccinated puts you it seems back to square one only to get reinfected. Once you have had COVID-19, you have had the whole Enchilada! The whole Virus. Why would anyone want to get Vaccinated for a specific Spike Protein over their own Natural Immunity?

Just a thought. Once you get the Shot can you give it back. Asking for a friend.

Of course, under normal Circumstances Natural Immunity should be the best possible scenario you could hope for other than not catching COVID-19 at all. However, over the past month based on what I am seeing in regards to Omicron. I am now worried that Natural Immunity may not completely protect you against Variants like the new IHU with it's 46 mutations. This, on top of all the actions we take to Reduce Transmission; including the Push to get Vaccinated and what will likely be the never ending parade of Boosters will likely create a very similar set of Circumstances similar to that of the over use of Antibiotics. You may disagree. You may think it's a stretch. Only time will tell. But I see this as a grave possibility. One with consequences our Pantywaist Society may not be able handle all too well. However, someone has to take this position and I am part of a growing number of those people.

Conclusion
Please keep in mind that this new Variant has not spread to any other Country as of this writing except France. We should all hope that this Variant with it's potential to be more Virulent stays right where it is in South Eastern France. Although, I personally have my doubts we should all pray for the Endemic Stage of this Pandemic to come sooner rather than later. By the way, the World Health Organization is not overly concerned about B.1.640.2. However, they can afford to be optimistic. That of course is not something the rest of us who work for a living, run a business or a blog can afford to be. Yes, optimism has it's place. I am hoping and praying for an end to this Pandemic As Soon as Possible. After all, for a good while it affected my income and my life. However, because of my experiences over the past couple of years, I for one will keep my guard up and not allow myself to become complacent. We have all heard talk of the Endemic Stage of this World Wide Event approaching. It's all talk for right now. We are not there yet. In fact, let me say that I doubt if we are on the downside of this Pandemic. In the mean time, all we can do is keep a watchful eye out as we  adapt to the challenges and conditions we have ahead of us!
